New EPF rule on auto withdrawal claims under 68J

The Employee's Provident Funds Organisation(EPFO) has increased the qualifying limit of Paragraph 68J claims for auto claims processing. The limit has been increased from 50,000 to Rs 1 Lakh

EPF subscribers can apply for an advance under Paragraph 68-J of the EPF scheme for their own and their dependents medical expenses

Note

A member would no longer need to provide a proforma, medical certificate, or any other kind of certificate or document in order to be eligible for an advance under paragraph 68-J

The member's basic pay and dearness allowance for a period of six month, his personal contribution share plus interest, whichever id less will be the maximum amount advanced under paragraph 68-J
